Green This Brunch. The Green Beaver Baby Launch in Toronto

Let’s Green this Brunch! Green Beaver Baby! In the last week of March, Hip Mommies hosted an exclusive brunch to celebrate the launch of The Green Beaver Company’s new lineup of personal care products for baby. We filled downtown hot spot La Palma in Toronto with media types, Instagrammers, mom bloggers, and influencers.

Attendees had a chance to learn about the benefits of the Green Beaver products with Alain Menard, biochemist, and founder of the Green Beaver Company. Emma Rohmann from Green at Home shared some insight into why choosing natural and organic is so important, especially for babe. And, everyone had the chance to meet and mingle with their favourite faces from their Instagram feed. All of this while enjoying a delightful spread of Italian influenced breakfast dishes and espresso at La Palma, the Trinity-Bellwoods hotspot in downtown Toronto. 

It was an incredible kickoff to spring, and everyone left with gift bags fit for a celeb, filled with some of our favourite things carefully curated to reflect the simple, nourishing ingredients used in the Green Beaver Baby products, and give attendees some goodies suitable for an afternoon of self-care. 

Alain Menard founded the Green Beaver Company with his wife Karen, over 15 years ago. Coming from the pesticide and pharmaceutical industries, they had insight into what is actually going into our personal care and household cleaning products, and the potential dangers on our systems. Wanting to start a family themselves, and being sidelined by some family illness, the Green Beaver Company was founded with the mission to help create change. Ever advocates, the Green Beaver Company fights for transparency and regulation in the industry and strives to use the cleanest ingredients, sourced locally. 

To generate some buzz for the Green Beaver Baby products, Hip Mommies partnered with Mommyfluencer for a week-long Social Media promotion/contest to coincide with the event. One Greater Toronto Area mom won a coveted invite. A second was spoiled with a swag bag. In order to gain an entry, participants were asked to share which Hip Mommies products they loved best on with their followers. #greenthisbrunch

Gift bag favourites for baby and toddler were provided by Hip Mommies, The Green Beaver Company, Shanti Tea.
