Doddle Pop Drop! Earlier this month, Hip Mommies hosted an exclusive brunch to celebrate the Canadian launch of Doddle & Co., creators of the Pop Pacifier. We filled downtown hot spot Café Cancan in Toronto with media types, Instagrammers, mom bloggers and influencers.

Attendees enjoyed a wonderful spread of Parisian bistro eats, care of famed chef Victor Barry, and had the chance to meet and mingle with their favourite faces from their instagram feed. It was the party of the season (sorry TIFF) and everyone left with gift bags fit for a celeb, filled with some of our favourite things.

The best part of the brunch? Doddle & Co. founders Nicki and Janna were on hand to talk “Pop shop”. With backgrounds in marketing, industrial design and launching a product in the highly competitive juvenile product space, this was a treat for any #momboss. They spoke about how the idea for the Pop came about, how they innovated and created a product, the iterations and revisions, and how they launched into the marketplace. They also gave guests a glance into what is coming next from Doddle & Co.

Hip Mommies ran a week long Social Media promotion/contest to coincide with the event. Two Greater Toronto Area moms won a coveted invite. In order to gain an entry, participants were asked to share which Hip Mommies products they loved best on with their followers.

The Pop Drop continues. The Doddle & Co. Pop Team “Pop”s up on the streets of Toronto.

Doddle & Co. Team Pops up all over Toronto

The Doddle Pop Drop continued. Later that afternoon, and into the next day, Hip Mommies and Doddle & Co. hit the streets of Toronto. “Pop”-ping up in Leaside, West Queen West, the Distillery District and Leslieville to meet with local moms and hand out Pops to new parents, directing Torontonians to the neighbourhood boutique to purchase.

Invented in 1935, the pacifier has been re-imagined for the first time in nearly a century. #doddlepopdrop
