It’s not harmful but can be annoying. Hand washing is preferred, but if using a dishwasher, space items apart. For smells, stains, or build-up, soak in hot water and vinegar. Utensils can be deep cleaned with a baking soda paste (1:2 ratio), or baked at 275°F for 45 min. Do not place in the oven.
